Detection
Apex Eye – a compact optical sensor to detect and counter these ever-evolving threats. As the smallest and lightest detection sensor, it allows an enhanced level of protection while increasing pilot and aircraft safety and providing optimal situational awareness.
Confirmation
Metis Halo is a miniature, single LRU that integrates multiple solid-state with a high-resolution, dual-band thermal tracker for threat acquisition, confirmation, and tracking. This ensures highly effective countermeasure performance against MANPADS across all aircraft types.
Neutralization
As soon as a warning is received from the onboard Missile Warning System (MWS), Ray-X DIRCM immediately pivots in the direction of the incoming threat and activates the mmW and IR trackers function for confirmation and tracking.
